About us

Who we are

People For Animals chengalpattu is a branch of one of India’s leading animal welfare organizations operating from Tamilnadu and working at the intersection of rescue, rehabilitation, and advocacy.
What sets us apart is not just the scale of its work, but the consistency of it. Rescue, rehabilitation and release has been a core mantra. But, animal welfare extends much beyond this.

Over time, we have expanded our role beyond immediate care. We actively engages with authorities, institutions, and communities to improve standards of animal treatment and bring long-term change. From influencing policy discussions to supporting awareness initiatives, our presence is both operational and systemic.

At our core, we represent a simple but powerful idea – that compassion can be structured, scaled, and sustained. The focus remains on doing the work consistently, responsibly, and with intent.
We look forward to continuing this journey – with stronger systems, wider reach, and deeper impact.
